A churchman from the US state of Oregon has decided to sue two people for posting a review of his church on the Internet. Pastor Charles O’Neal of the Beaverton Grace Bible Church has claimed a mother and daughter pair posted bad reviews of his church online. Julie Anne Smith and her daughter alleged on their Web blog that the Beaverton Grace Bible Church had shunned their family after they decided to leave. Ms Smith’s blog, called “Beaverton Grace Bible Church Survivors,” attracted online comments from others, who are also being sued. Pastor Charles O’Neal’s lawsuit claims that the church was defamed in the Web blog. He is asking for $500,000 from Ms Smith and her daughter.
